ROBOTICS EVENT ROBOFEST
NITRO BOTS
Grade: IX - XII
Event Duration: 3 Hours
Format:
- Participants must design a bot to complete a track with obstacles in the shortest time.
- The race will have checkpoints where bots must perform specific tasks.
- Bots must be controlled via wired remote or wireless systems.
- Human assistance during the race is prohibited.
- The results will be decided on the basis of time taken and tasks performed.
Rules:
- Maximum Participant from each team: 2
- Maximum bot dimensions: 30x30x30 cm
- Maximum bot weight: 4 kg
- Operating voltage must not exceed 24V DC.
- No AC/DC power supply will be provided.
- 2 minutes of repair time will be given in case of any technical failure.
ROBO SOCCER
Grade: IX - XII
Event Duration: 3 Hours
Format:
- Teams compete in a soccer match using their bots to score goals.
- Matches are divided into two 3-minute halves.
- Bots must be controlled via wired remote or wireless systems.
- Bots must be equipped with non-destructive mechanisms.
- Each team can field only 1 bot during the match.
- Goals scored by human interference will be invalidated.

- Maximum Participant from each team: 2
- Maximum bot dimensions: 30x30x30 cm
- Maximum bot weight: 4 kg
- Operating voltage must not exceed 24V DC.
- No AC/DC power supply will be provided.

WRESTLE MANIA
Grade: IX - XII
Event Duration: 3 Hours
Format:
- Two bots face off in an arena to push or immobilize the opponent.
- The match is time-limited (3 minutes per round).
- Points awarded for knockdowns, immobilizations, and controlled movement.
- Bots must be controlled via wired remote or wireless systems.
- No destructive weapons (e.g., flamethrowers, saws) & no flammable liquids of any kind are allowed.
- Any human interference will lead to disqualification.

- Maximum Participant from each team: 2
- Maximum bot dimensions: 30x30x30 cm
- Maximum bot weight: 4 kg
- Operating voltage must not exceed 24V DC.
- No AC/DC power supply will be provided.

MANOEUVRE
Grade: IX - XII
Event Duration: 2 Hours
Format:
- The bot must be manually controlled and capable of gripping various blocks or shapes. It should be able to insert them into corresponding grooves carved into a cubic block. The gripping mechanism should be precise and able to handle various shapes securely. The bot should be completely hand-made, no ready made/lego chassis will be allowed.
- The bot can be either wired or wireless. Wireless control options include a dualfrequency remote, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi.
- The bot should be able to precisely align and place the blocks into their respective grooves, requiring accurate control of its movements and gripping mechanism.
- For wireless bots, ensure the control mechanism provides a stable connection and sufficient range to operate effectively within the task area without any interference or lag.
Rules:
- Team Size: 1-3 students
- Maximum bot dimensions: 50x50x50 cm
- Maximum bot weight: 2 kg
- Operating voltage: Maximum 24V DC
ROBOTICS EVENT AEROFEST
ROCKET MASTERS
Grade: IX - XII
Event Duration: 3 Hours
Format:
- Participants must design a single stage water rocket to achieve maximum distance and accuracy.
- Each team gets two launch attempts.
- Team of only 1-2 students are allowed to participate.
Rules:
- Maximum Participant from each team: 2
- Rockets must not exceed 2L in capacity.
- Only water and compressed air can be used as propellants.
- Safety measures (e.g., proper assembly and handling) must be followed.
- Launcher has to be fabricated by the teams individually, sharing of launcher is prohibited. Teams making their own hand made launchers will be rewarded with bonus points.
- Manual and electronic pumps are permitted in the event; however, teams must bring their own. The organizer will not provide launchers or pumps to any team.
GLIDE-X
Grade: IX - XII
Event Duration: 3 Hours
Format:
- Glide-X is a challenge to design, build, and launch a glider with a maximum wingspan of 1 meter, aiming for maximum distance in the shortest possible time during a free-flight event.
- Gliders must be non-powered and use either manual or catapult-based launch methods.
- Teams will compete on flight distance, duration, and stability of the flight.
- Each team can have up to 2 participants.
Rules:
- Maximum Participant from each team: 2
- Maximum wing span: 1 meter
- Maximum glider weight: 500 gsm
- Manually adjustable control surfaces are allowed.
- Usage of remote or radio control equipment is strictly prohibited.
- Maximum two attempts per team will be provided.
- If a team’s glider crashes or breaks during the event, that team will be disqualified.
COMPUTER BASED EVENTS
WEBSCRAPERS
Grade: IX - XII
Event Duration: 1.5 Hours

Event Description :
- Participants will be creating a website on given topic.
- Participants will have 50 mins to create the website on given theme.
- Stock images and other relevant website data will be provided before the start of event.

HARDCODER
Grade: IX - XII
Event Duration: 1 Hours

Event Description :
- Hardcoder is a coding event in which the participants will be judged on their programming and logical thinking skills.
- The final score will be judged on the accuracy and complexity of the code.

CAPTURE CARNIVAL
Grade: IX - XII
Event Duration: 2 Hours

Event Description :
- Each participant must submit exactly five original photographs taken during the carnival. Submissions exceeding five photographs will result in deduction of marks.
- Participants are required to bring their own camera or mobile device.
- At conclusion of the event, participants will be required to upload their photographs to the designated GOOGLE DRIVE folder. Participants must therefore ensure they have the necessary means to transfer and upload their files accordingly.
Note:
- The use of filters or any form of digital enhancement is strictly prohibited.
PIXEL PERFECT
Grade: IX - XII
Event Duration: 1 Hours

Event Description :
- Participants are required to edit the photographs according to the given topic using the provided software.
- Participants will be provided with stock images.
- Use of predesigned content is not allowed.
- Judgement will be based on uniqueness and creativity, attention to details, visual appeal, cohesiveness and clarity.

SOUND SCULPT

Event Description :
- Participants are expected to create a musical composition by using provided audio files in an abstract style.
- Please remember to bring your own wired headphones.

FRAMECRAFTERS
Grade: IX - XII
Event Duration: 2 Hours

Event Description :
- Teams must produce a video of at least 2 minutes, on a topic assigned at the event.
- Each team should bring its own DSLR camera or mobile phone for recording, as well as wired headphones for audio monitoring.
- Necessary accessories such as memory card readers or pendrives must be provided by participants for transferring files.

EXTREME PURSUIT
Grade: IX - XII
Event Duration: 2 Hours

Event Description :
- This is a gaming event.
- Games will be revealed during the event.
- There will be three stages:
- Round 1 : Spectra Clash
- Round 2 : Prime Conflict
- Round 3 : Project Blackout
- Participants should bring their own wired keyboard, mouse and headset.
- Each round will be elimination round with only a set of students qualifying for the successive rounds.
RENDER RIOT
Grade: IX - XII
Event Duration: 1 Hours

Event Description :
- This is a 3D animation competition.
Participants must create an animation based on a given theme.
- Judgement criteria include creativity, time management, use of tools, and overall visual quality.

REVELATION
Grade: IX - XII
Event Duration: 1 Hours

Event Description :
- This is a surprise event.
- Participants will be given a task on the spot that must be completed within the given time.
- They will be judged on presence of mind, accuracy, and speed.
- Any use of external assistance or unfair means will lead to disqualification.
TECH TRIVIA
Grade: IX - XII
Event Duration: 2 Hours

Event Description :
- The Quiz will be Conducted in 3 rounds:
- Round 1: Cache Me if You Can (Trivia Round)
- Round 2: The Debugging Den
- Round 3 (Finale): The Firewall Face-off (Rapid Fire face-off; Buzzer round)
The Top Eight teams from Round 1 will advance to Round 2 and the top Four teams from Round 2 will face-off in the final round.
- The quiz will encompass Questions across a wide Spectrum of Computer Science and Technology, Artificial Intelligence and other allied fields, designed to test the participants’ knowledge, reasoning, and presence of mind.
National Entrepreneurship Fest (Kanpur Chapter)
NEF 2.0 Kanpur Chapter
Event Duration: 3 Hours
Format:
- Each team must design a single ppt about a unique business idea.
- The ppt should not have more than 15 slides.
- Teams will get 5 mins to present their business ideas.
- Event is divided into two groups: Group 1: Grades 6-8 | Group 2: Grades 9-12
- Students can form teams only from the same grade and school.
- Development of prototype of the ideas is not mandatory.
Rules:
- Originality: Submissions must be original; plagiarism causes disqualification.
- Code of Conduct: Professional and respectful behavior is mandatory; misconduct leads to disqualification.
- Judges’ Decision: Jury decisions are final and binding.
- Confidentiality: Do not disclose sensitive business ideas; organizers are not responsible for leaks.
- Disqualification Criteria: Violations, unethical acts, or cheating result in immediate disqualification.

What is Computer Carnival (C²) 2025?
Computer Carnival 2025 is the 19th annual interschool technology fest organized by Puranchandra Vidyaniketan under the PCVN Information Technology Society, in collaboration with FIZ Robotic Solutions and Techkriti, IIT Kanpur. It’s a celebration of innovation, coding, robotics, and creativity.
When and where will the event take place?
The event will be held on Saturday, 22nd November 2025, at Puranchandra Vidyaniketan, Hemat Vihar, Barra 2, Kanpur, U.P. – 208027.
Who can participate in the Computer Carnival?
Students from Classes IX to XII are eligible to participate in the main events — including Computer-Based, Robotics, Aerofest, and Entrepreneurship categories.
How many participants can each school send?
Each school can send a maximum of 14 students and 1 teacher escort to represent their institution in different events.
How can students register for the event?
All participants must register via the official Google Form before 15th November 2025.

What are the main categories of events?
The carnival includes three major domains:
- Computer-Based Events (Webscrapers, Hardcoder, Pixel Perfect, Tech Trivia, etc.)
- Robotics Events (Robofest: Nitro Bot, Robo Soccer, Wrestle Mania, Manoeuvre)
- Aerofest (Rocket Masters, Glide-X)
- National Entrepreneurship Fest (NEF 2.0 – Kanpur Chapter)
Is participation in robotics or aeromodelling compulsory?
Yes. Participation in either Robofest or Aerofest is mandatory for all schools. However, participants may choose to compete in both.
What is the reporting time for participants?
All teams must report at 8:00 AM on the event day, 22nd November 2025, for registration and the inaugural ceremony.
What are the rules regarding gadgets and mobile phones?
Students are not allowed to use mobile phones, unless specifically required for a particular event. Any misuse may result in disqualification.
Are there any specific technical requirements for robotics events?
Yes. Robots must follow the dimension and voltage limits mentioned in the brochure (e.g., maximum 30x30x30 cm, 24V DC). Participants must bring their own batteries and components — no AC/DC supply will be provided.
What safety measures are required for Aerofest?
Participants must follow all safety protocols while designing and launching rockets or gliders. Only water and compressed air can be used as propellants, and teams must bring their own pumps and launchers.
What is NEF 2.0 (Kanpur Chapter)?
NEF 2.0 is the National Entrepreneurship Fest, where students present their innovative business ideas in a PowerPoint format. It’s divided into two groups — Grades 6–8 and Grades 9–12 — and judged on creativity, feasibility, and presentation.
What are the judging criteria for the events?
Events will be judged on criteria such as creativity, innovation, problem-solving, accuracy, and technical execution. Judges’ decisions will be final and binding.
Will lunch or refreshments be provided?
Yes, the event schedule includes a lunch break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by the Valedictory Ceremony and Prize Distribution.
