Rather than just a contest, NEF 2.0 is a learning journey: participants get mentorship, hands-on exposure to startup culture, and real-world experience in shaping and presenting their ideas.

Here’s a timeline for NEF 2.0 important milestones:

• Registration Closes: 5 December 2025
• Free Preparatory Workshop: 7 December 2025
• PPT Submission Deadline: 10 December 2025
• Result Announcement: 13 December 2025
• Grand Finale (Offline): 25 December 2025, at Alpine Public School, Khurja, Uttar Pradesh

Venue: Where the Magic Happens

The Grand Finale of NEF 2.0 takes place offline at:

Alpine Public School, Khurja, Uttar Pradesh. 

This school, partnering with FIZ Robotic Solutions, hosts the final round where the top teams pitch their ideas in front of a jury and an audience.

How the Competition Works

Teams & Eligibility

• Open to students from Grades 6–12.
• Teams can have 1–3 members, but they must be from the same school and same class.
• Two age groups:
  • Group 1: Grades 6–8
  • Group 2: Grades 9–12 

Registration

• The fee is INR 1,000 per team, inclusive of taxes. 
• After registration, joining a WhatsApp group is mandatory — this helps keep participants updated with important announcements.
  

Preparatory Workshop

• FIZ Robotic Solutions organizes a free online workshop to help participants structure their ideas, design their pitch, and polish their presentation. 
• This is a valuable resource: mentors guide students on conceptualizing, validating, and presenting their business ideas.
  

Submission

• Participants are required to submit a PowerPoint (PPT) via a dedicated portal.
• The presentation should clearly articulate the problem, your solution, and include a SWOT analysis, among other details.
• Only submissions in PPT or PPTX format are accepted.
  

Grand Finale & Judging

• The top 20 teams, chosen based on PPT evaluation, will qualify for the Grand Finale.
• At the finale, teams pitch their ideas live.
• Important judging criteria:
  
  1. Problem-solving nature (20 points)
  2. Originality of the idea (20 points)
  3. Quality of presentation (20 points)
  4. SWOT analysis (20 points)
  5. Implementation feasibility (20 points)
     
• Judges include experienced professionals like Mr. Nitin Sethi, a venture builder and advisor.

Prizes & Recognition

Participants don’t just walk away with experience — there are real rewards at stake:

• 2nd Prize: INR 3,000 + Goodies
• 3rd Prize: INR 2,000 + Goodies

3. Use Visuals Effectively

   Rehearse with your team. Decide who will speak for which slide, and build confidence through repetition.
